A ceramic coating is a semi-permanent layer of silica that chemically bonds to your clear coat. It is not a wax that sits on top and washes away in six weeks. Once it cures it becomes part of the surface.
What you notice first is the look. Correct the paint, then coat it, and the finish gains depth that a wax cannot produce. Dark colors especially go from flat to wet.
What you notice for the next several years is the maintenance. Water beads and rolls off instead of sheeting and drying into spots. Salt, sap and brake dust sit on the surface instead of bonding to it, so a wash takes half the time.
Every package covers paint, wheels, glass and trim, not just the panels. And every package is insurance-backed, registered to your VIN and recorded with CARFAX, which is something no other shop in Union County can say. We use Owner’s Pride coatings and have done for years.

A wax lasts weeks and a sealant lasts months. A properly installed ceramic coating is measured in years, and ours is warranted for it.
Water pulls into tight beads and leaves the panel on its own. Less standing water means far fewer water spots to deal with.
The silica layer takes the UV load and resists the acids in bug residue, sap and bird droppings that etch bare clear coat.
Coating corrected paint adds a wet depth that photographs differently. It is the part owners notice every time they walk up to the car.
Years of sun chalk a finish and flatten the color, reds and dark blues first. The coating carries the UV load instead.
Acidic enough to etch a permanent ring into bare clear coat in an afternoon of sun. On a coating they sit on the surface.

Salt, brine and sand from November to March is the hardest thing our climate does to paint. This is the cheapest defense against it.

Blow dry or use a clean drying towel. Standing water is where spots come from, and a coating sheds water faster than you expect.
Touchless is fine. Brush tunnels drag grit across the coating and will eventually mark it, the same as they mark paint.
