Stealth is the same urethane film as our clear PPF with a satin matte top coat. It goes on over your existing paint, so you get a factory-looking matte finish and real impact protection in one install.
On a gloss car it is a transformation. The film mutes the reflection into an even satin without touching the paint underneath, and the original color still reads through, just flattened.
On a car that left the factory matte, it solves the real problem: matte paint cannot be polished. One bad wash or one bird dropping left in the sun can mean a respray. Stealth takes that risk instead.
Because it is film, it comes off. Years later you can have it removed and the gloss underneath is exactly as it was the day it went on.

Rock chips and road debris
Identical protection to our clear film. Highway strikes land on the urethane and spread out instead of punching into the clear coat.
Bird droppings and bug acid
On factory matte these can etch permanently because there is no polishing them out. On Stealth they sit on the surface and come off.

The usual matte nightmare is a shiny patch where someone scrubbed. The self-healing layer absorbs that instead.
Road salt and winter brine

Decontamination and prep
Two-bucket wash, iron decon, clay and alcohol wipe. On a gloss car we correct first, because the film locks in whatever is underneath.
Climate-controlled install
Patterns plotted for your exact make and model, installed in a clean bay with edges wrapped where the panel allows.
Inspection and walkthrough
We check every panel with you under inspection lighting, register the warranty to your VIN, and cover matte-safe care.

Gloss cars that want a matte look
The cleanest way to change the character of a car without touching the paint or committing to anything permanent.
Factory matte vehicles
If you already own matte paint, this is the single best thing you can do for it. Matte cannot be corrected, so it has to be protected.

First 7 days
Skip pressure washing the edges and stay out of automatic washes while the adhesive sets. Light edge haze is normal and clears on its own.
Routine washing
pH neutral shampoo, two buckets, clean microfiber mitt. Exactly the same routine as gloss paint.
No wax or gloss enhancers
This is the one real rule. Wax, sealants and gloss detailers will leave shiny patches on a matte surface. Use matte-safe products only.
Self-healing scratches
Warm water or a sunny afternoon lifts light marks back out. No polishing, ever, on a matte finish.
Winter salt
Rinse lower panels and the underside after salted roads. The film does not mind, but salt collects in edges and seams.
Optional ceramic
A matte-specific ceramic coating can go over Stealth for easier washing. Never a gloss coating, which defeats the finish.

Will Stealth really make my gloss car look matte?
Yes, and convincingly. It reads as a factory satin rather than a wrap. We will show you the film against your own paint in daylight first, because colors shift a little under matte.
Is matte PPF harder to clean than gloss?
No. It washes with the same pH neutral shampoo and mitt. The only difference is that you must avoid wax, sealants and gloss enhancers, which leave shiny patches.
Can Stealth be removed if I want my gloss back?
Yes. Removed with proper heat it comes off cleanly and the paint underneath is exactly as it was on install day. That reversibility is the main reason people choose it over a respray.
Can I apply Stealth to a factory matte car?
That is one of its best uses. Factory matte paint cannot be polished, so any wash damage or etching is permanent. The film takes that damage instead and can be replaced.
Does Stealth change the exact shade of my paint?
It flattens the reflection, which makes most colors read slightly deeper and a little darker. Metallic flake is muted. We always sample on your car before you commit.
How long does a full Stealth wrap take?
Typically four to five days for full body, two to three for a front-end or partial. We book the car in rather than rushing the install.
Can I add a ceramic coating on top of Stealth?
Only a matte-specific coating. A standard gloss ceramic will add shine and defeat the finish. We use a matte formulation when owners want the easier washing.
What vehicles is Stealth best suited for?
Anything with large, readable panels: luxury SUVs, sedans, sports cars. It also suits anyone who wants a distinctive look without a permanent change to the car.
